A hideous secret

Bella was born during turn-of-the-century change in the American south. She is the product of a biracial union and an unwitting victim of a heinous family secret. Fleeing a dangerous threat to her unborn child, Bella heads north entering a world of strangers for the first time, until Braden Chandler and his family close ranks around her offering safety and hope.

Newfound faith

As Bella opens her arms and heart to new possibilities, she remains only one step ahead of Ferrin Buchannon, a maniacal killer relentless in his pursuit of Bella and the child he believes to be his progeny.

In the midst of turmoil, Bella is born again. Is her newfound faith strong enough to sustain her through the perils ahead or might ancestral traditions and superstition keep her bound in fear?

Redemption

Bella's furtive night flight and hazardous escape from deadly pursuit are the catalyst for a journey of self discovery bringing the kind of redemption found only in love and faith.

Moonsong is the debut novel for first time author Liv Howard. This reminds us that there is no past so horrific and no obstacle so great that it can't be overcome by faith. Liv is the mother of four adult children and two grand puppies.
